God – some days I just really, really love my job.
Days when my tarot readings are just that extra bit amazing. Days when folks email me to tell me beautiful things about their lives. Days when I don’t feel like working…so I paint my boat or go for a bike ride instead.
And days when I get to meet my tarot heroes.
I met Barbara Moore (‘met’ is a loose word – I attended her workshop, she said my hair was nice and I will never, never get over it) in Portland back in March and her wonderful presentation on the fool’s journey sealed my opinion that she is one of the most brilliant, engaging and accessible tarot folks on the block.
Then this month, I got to interview Barbara for Autostraddle! Yee-ha!
I’m a 30-something writer, artist, tarot reader, and perpetual explorer of the space between thought, feeling, and action.
I believe that spirituality and ritual are for everybody. I’m about the journey, in all of its messy, non-linear, chaotic iterations. I am excited by anticapitalist business and living with my whole entire self present. I use tarot cards to bring forth hidden truth, and ritual to affirm my commitment, over and over, to my ever-shifting path.
