Wanna show it off?
I’m collecting photographs/illustrations of beautiful tarot tattoos for an upcoming article and am looking for submissions!
Maybe your tat shows your favourite tarot card…or one that means something special to you? Or maybe it’s just a symbol or a sign from a card you love.
It might not be a direct tarot image at all – perhaps your tattoo is of one or more of the four elements, or the symbol of one of the four tarot suits?
If you have any kind of tarot-related tattoo and you’d like to share it with the world, drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please also feel free to share this post with your friends.
Thank you so much!
- High-quality photos only
- If possible, please show the whole ‘context’ of the tattoo – closeups are nice but I’d prefer something zoomed out a little, showing a bit of clothing, more of your body etc.
- If it’s really close to the deadline I *might* accept a raw, unhealed picture but otherwise please send tatts that are nice and healed, rather than shiny, bloody, scabby etc. I appreciate that it’s your new tattoo and it’s beautiful, but no-one wants to see it when it’s still an open wound!
Deadline: 25th August 2014
I’m a 30-something writer, artist, tarot reader, and perpetual explorer of the space between thought, feeling, and action.
I believe that spirituality and ritual are for everybody. I’m about the journey, in all of its messy, non-linear, chaotic iterations. I am excited by anticapitalist business and living with my whole entire self present. I use tarot cards to bring forth hidden truth, and ritual to affirm my commitment, over and over, to my ever-shifting path.
